Start meditating in just 5 minutes
We've talked to you several times about meditation, but do you really know how to meditate and what the benefits of meditation are? Although many people think that meditation is something "complicated" or simply relaxation, meditation is much more than that.
But above all, it's something very simple and accessible for everyone! You can practice it anywhere, from your bed or sofa, on the terrace, in the countryside, in the forest, and then with a little experience: on the bus, on the subway, on the plane, etc.
All you need: 15 minutes a day! The list of benefits of meditation is very long.
The main ones who benefit from the practice of meditation are:
- It strengthens the immune system and self-healing.
-
It clarifies thoughts, increases creativity and memory.
-
Powerful anti-aging effect through the balance of DHEA and cortisol.
-
It greatly reduces stress.
-
It improves the body's overall energy.
-
Reduce negative emotions (fear, anxiety, etc.).
Two other important benefits are the following:
-
It can help you break free from emotional blocks from the past.
-
It allows you to connect with your intuition and create the life of your dreams more easily.
How to practice meditation?
Here we will explain basic meditation, accessible to everyone. If you start practicing regularly, you will quickly notice that your life is beginning to change.
-
Choose a quiet place where you won't be disturbed (bed, sofa, lounge chair, cushion). You can lie down or sit up.
-
Play relaxing music. (Nature sounds, or Zen music, as you prefer). You can find many of them on YouTube.com.
-
Now, observe your breathing. (Without judging, without trying to change it, without looking for anything, just observe it.)
Sometimes your breathing will be faster, or slower, sometimes it will stop for a moment: Just observe and focus on your breathing.
-
As soon as your mind wanders, focus your attention on your breathing.
-
Do this for about 15 minutes a day.
Here, all you have to do is observe the movement of your breath by focusing your attention on the movement of your breath for 15 minutes.
Don't worry if your mind is racing. You'll think about many things except the movement of your breath, and that's normal at first.

The very purpose of meditation is to free ourselves from the control that these (mental) thoughts have over us!
You may have "trouble" at first to stay focused on your breath movement for more than 3 or 4 seconds! With daily practice, it will become easier and easier.
You will begin to experience many other things in terms of sensations, ideas, awareness, and energy 🙂
